Chicory Orchidea Rossa (40-64)
Chicory Orchidea Rossa - Red Orchid. One of the easiest red chicories to grow and one of the earlier ones at 75 days to maturity. Very attractive deep red rosette-shaped head. Best in fall, when color is deepest red. Use transplants in spring to get it to maturity before summer heat arrives. Plant any time for baby leaves for salad. 5 gram packet. Approximately 600-900 seeds per gram.

none of this plants can be grown in the east,the heat in july august is about 90 to 100
The small plants can't survive the orrible heat,no way to make a fall garden. Hi Guido, There are a lot of people growing this in the N.E. though, including some commercial ones in the Conn. River valley. Dan
