Zucchini Striato d'Italia (146-2)
Zucchini Striato d'Italia - Italian Striped. Our most popular zucchini; grow it and you will understand why! The flavor is excellent, texture is firm, and the plants are super-productive over a long season. This is a bush-type zucchini, but give it plenty of room for the plants to keep growing larger. Fruits are striped dark green with light green, and have small ribs. Striato d'Italia produces many flowers that can be picked for squash blossom recipes. It tolerates heat, and also does well in cool weather. Good eating quality up to 10-12 inches, but best when picked small at about 6-8 inches. 55-60 days. 7 gram packet; approximately 30-35 seeds.
Approximately 2-10 seeds per gram.

Excellent, the best taste ever
This is the king of the zucchinis. Excellent taste. Just like any zucchini, it should be picked when they are tender, not too small, not too big. Real zucchini aroma. It produces a lot. One of my all time favorites, I gotta have every year. And I buy the seeds from this website, because I don't think that there is any seed company in US gives these many seeds as much as Franchi gives. I use until seeds are over for years (I start as 4 sets, 2 seeds for each set). they are still fresh and germinate. I discovered this company some years ago and I feel very lucky that I have an opportunity to access these authentic delicious vegetables from Italy. thank you

EXTREMELY PROLIFIC
Wonderful plant, very heavy producer. Good taste and tender for small and medium fruits. I grew them large to make mountains of zucchini bread. Will always grow some of this one. GREAT variety!

Another Italian Star!
If Fellini made movies about vegetables, this would be his star. Easy to grow, prolific, beautiful striations, tender and versatile. We enjoy them raw in salads, stuffed or sautéed.
