Fennel Chiarino (62-1784)

A very early variety, suitable for sowing from about the 20th June to the 10th July in Central Italy (Zones 8 and 9), for harvest in September, highly resistant to bolting. Deep green, upright, compact leaves with good development to its full size. The heart is globe shaped, of medium weight (about 400g or 14 oz). The leaf bases are tightly packed, wrap-around and pure white. Seed sourced from Sais Sementi.
